TOUCHED BY LYME: Huffington Post reviews my Lyme disease book

I’ve written other books before. But none that I am prouder of than the one I co-wrote with Sandy Berenbaum called When Your Child Has Lyme Disease: A Parent’s Survival Guide. It grew out of my family’s lived experience of Lyme–and my co-author’s work of helping many families survive their lives with Lyme.

So I am honored today to find that our book has struck a chord with Huffington Post columnist John McCormick, who also happens to be the parent of a child with Lyme disease.

As he writes in his review of our book:

When my son Will was first diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2009, my wife and I didn’t have a clue what Lyme was or what was in store for our family. For starters, we thought all Lyme cases could be cured with a short course of antibiotics. But when Will’s symptoms persisted after a three-week treatment, we were faced with an array of questions for which we had no answers.
