You Can Do It! Put Up Posters for Lyme Disease Awareness Month

May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month and in most parts of the US, ticks are out in force. In the next few months, thousands of people will be going to the doctor with mysterious symptoms because they didn’t notice a tick bite. This poster can help your friends and neighbors avoid infection by reminding them to take precautions and watch out for ticks. At LymeDisease.org we provide materials people can use easily in their own communities. Take part in raising public awareness of Lyme disease yourself.

Print this poster out–or have it printed–and see if your local library or doctors’ offices will display it. Put it on the bulletin board at the laundromat and your natural foods store. Maybe the park in your area will agree to post it. Ask your children’s school and the community college of they will post one. Give one to the Garden Club and the local environmental center. Your child might like to take one to school.

You can just print the poster out yourself or office supply companies will print and laminate them and make them more durable for outdoor use.
